Here is the poem entitled Fibonacci, author unknown.
There once was a young lad from Pisa,
Whose sequence of numbers would please ya.
He had a strange habit
Of watching the rabbits;
"Their numbers are nothing to sneeze at!"
This sequence we'll frequently see,
On the piano - the black or white key,
With daisies and pinecones,
And the Nautilus' shell-home,
And the male honey bee's family tree.
So what makes his sequence so great?
His terms we must now calculate:
We start with two ones,
Then, find their sum,
And go: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8!
So Fibonacci, your sequence continues
To turn up in all sorts of venues.
No cause for concern,
But consecutive terms
Give a ratio that's Golden, 1.62!
