Congratulations are in order for Daniel, JLow and Jin for their outstanding performance at OM today. They did the school proud and I am happy for them that their labour has paid off.
I observed them seconds before they champion team was announced and there was so much tension and excitement. There they were, with heads bowed low, not daring to look up, with hands linked together perhaps in earnest prayer.
The moment of truth came and the paralysing tension gave way to rapturous jubilation when the school name was called out. The team dashed out unabashedly to claim the prize they have rightly earned.
Success through sacrifices taste o so sweet.
