I was very encouraged when one of my former student came up to me and told me that he has accepted Christ. As he shared more, the story became more incredible. He has never been much a believer, but just before the O level, he made a "bet" with God that if he gets an agreggate of 15 and below, he would believe in God. He thought that it was a crazy prayer, since he always have problem with his english scoring no better than C5.
Much to his surprise, he obtained an agreggate of 13 points, scoring a B3 for English which he never thought possible. So he wishes to honour the "bet" he made. It was also concidental that he had two visits from evangelists to his house, spending almost an hour sharing the gospel to him.
I believe that God has a plan for every one of us, and salvation is truly by Grace, His perfect gift. So no matter how long it takes, and how many times we reject the prompting of the Holy Spirit, should God desire to make Himself known to you and I, you will receive more and more opportunities to say yes to Jesus.
God's love is irresistable. Amen?
