Teaching POD

I would have to say that teaching POD is refreshingly different. Firstly, it forces me to read up on things that are remotely mathematics and that is really fun. There were those things on thinking skills that I have learnt before but forgotten and it was really nice to have a valid excuse to go through those things again.

It is also fascinating to see how everyone, including myself, can be transformed through a healthy exchange of ideas. I spent much of the first lesson discussing the ground rules and getting the students to think what constitute thinking. I hope that they will find this series of lessons beneficial as a foundation for quality thinking across their different disciplines.
