I have been silent

Yeah yeah, you think I will not come in again. True, I have been rather absent from this blog, for a very good reason. Let me take this time to tell you why. Well term 1 has started admirably, although it took some time to get used to teaching Year 3 and Year 5.

I had some initial jitters about teaching Year 5s but well I am alright now. I hope the ladies and gentlemen can understand what I am trying to teach. Or else the effort I have put in would be in vain.

My only regret is that I get to see less and less of my ex students from 3-9, 3-10 and 3-13. I guess that would be part of the life of a teacher. I do hope that they had a memorable time with me teaching them in 2005. I surely did. Only time will tell if all the self-directed learning and reflection I have inbuilt in the lessons would bear fruit when the time comes.

My coughing spell has not subsided. I really wish i will get well so that I can start my regular jogs. Bursting at the seam is not my idea of fun.
