Finally get to blog after a long period of silence. Internet connection is hard to come by here in boarding, only available at the dining hall, so I make a special effort today to come down to blog.
Term has started although I have only met up with my own form class 310. A delightful bunch of students I may add. I think we will have a wonderful year together. It is also a new experience being a CT. The amount of paperwork was daunting at first but I have got used to it.
I will spend much time during the OEP getting to know my class and PCT Mr Andrew Wong who is really a nice person. He helps me with the admin work so I am very grateful to him for that. Having an experienced teacher like Ms Chia as a PCT also helps boost my confidence that I can do this right.
It would be nice to see the new year 5 classes I am teaching. I wont know who they are until I get back from OEP. Meanwhile I am just preparing for lessons. Hope they will like me and more importantly learn something useful.
It is my hope that I will be able to serve my students in school and boarding well this year. So for those who read this post, do spend a brief moment keeping me in prayer so that I may handle my students with wisdom and care.
