Despite Tim's best attempts to ensnare me into self deprecation, he has not been very successful. He could spend time instead training and paying back the 750 push-ups which is owed. But I forgive him his futile attempts.
I have also seen Eric matures over this few days. I have long got over his little outburst in class some time ago. Yet it touches my deeply that he tries to make up for it by giving his best for his advanced math test. Let me say right here that I am proud of Eric as my student and I would hope that the rest of you would encourage him along the way and give him more room to grow. We all make mistakes, but we learn and move on.
