Hmm was supposed to watch Initial D with Kenny, Eric, Kaijun and Daryl but unfortunately there were no available tickets for the 12.50 pm show. So there I was at Plaza Sing and my hope of watching Initial D was dashed to pieces because someone who shall remain nameless forgot to book the tickets early.
So we had lunch at the foodcourt. I had to participate in a long queue that stretched back to the end of the milky way in order to earn myself a sliver of bbq chicken, bowl of rice and a morsel of scrambled egg.
Left with nothing interesting to do, we proceeded to play LAN games. Now I had never done this before, but was persuaded to try for lack of anything better to do. That's how I got started with Dota. My hero, Tiny the Rock Giant, was murdered several times by Kenny, Daryl and those who seek to take advantage of noobs. I suspected they took pleasure in butchering me since doing that in class is next to impossible.
Of course after 2 hours I got better at it, and though still at the bottom of the heap, managed a decent level 12. Tiny, my little Giant, grew to an impressive size. Well next time I will be better prepared.
After the two hours of DOTA, we walked the entire length of Orchard Road. It was a pleasant day to take a walk. We ended up at Yoshinoya, waiting for the waitress to come and take our orders. She never did so we went up to the counter and ordered.
Beef shreds tasted good with rice and msg laden miso.
Then it was over. I made my way back to school where i parked my car. It was so dark I couldnt see myself.
