Darryl Lim in a New Light

Well on Monday 23rd I am inviting my FPS team over to my place and cajole them to finish the second future scene writeup. Since I would probably get in their way when they get started, I thought I would cook something nice for everyone to eat.

So after a good rest on sunday afternoon, I decided to go down to Giant supermarket at Parkway Parade. Since there was probably a lot to buy, I furiously sms a couple of eastern dwellers hoping that I could rope in a few for the shopping spree. Unfortunately Eric was still engagged in his fellowshipping acitivity while Ian was in Sentosa building sandcastles. Kenny was of course busy with his Chinese tuition.

Fortunately for me I had Darryl. I caught him while he was at Aljunied MRT and promptly requested his service. So we began our quest for bits of meat, sausages, mushroom and green tea which according to Darryl I would not regret buying. Darryl knew his way around the supermarket and he pushed the trolley like a real pro. Thanks to him I manage to get all the heavy bags to the car.

We spent the remaining part of the evening at a coffee shop at Sims Drive where Darryl lives. He had green tea and for some reason, after the day's exertion I celebrated the start of a public holiday with two cans of coke. I could not help complementing the kopitiam man on how nice the coke tastes.

It's 1 am now and I am still bloated with that coke. Sigh.
